Hi, I am Collette Divitto, born in 1990 with Down syndrome. I am the owner of Collettey’s Cookies, and Collettey’s Leadership (non-profit). People have called me a tenacious young woman with a strong will for perseverance despite my challenges. After years of rejection for employment and always being told I was not a good fit, I decided to not give up and start my own company so I could earn a living and live independently. I now have two companies and have turned my desire and dedication to empowering and employing other people facing challenges like I did. My cookie company has 15 employees and I ship all over the US and Canada! 

My non-profit focuses on mentoring others and workshops for independence and entrepreneurship which I just love doing. I have found my whole heart filled with joy in advocating and empowering others!  And I am just getting started!  I have published my first book and am getting my second book published this year. I decide to write a series of books about my life and experiences each at different ages, hoping to inspire and help others through my challenges that I turned into triumphs.
